Description
Overcoming Anxiety & Building Resilience is a written, self-paced course in six modules. You learn how everyday anxiety works, including triggers, cycles and the body's stress response; practise CBT-informed tools for anxious thoughts; use body-based grounding and calming techniques; build a personal resilience toolkit; look at social and performance anxiety and generalised worry; and explore meaning-making after difficult experiences.
This course is educational, not therapy, and it cannot diagnose or treat anxiety disorders, trauma or any mental health condition. It does not promise to remove anxiety. If anxiety is severe, persistent or stopping you from living your life, or if you are in crisis, please contact a doctor, a qualified mental health professional or your local emergency services.

- Describe the anxiety cycle and identify your own common triggers
- Use a thought record to question anxious thoughts
- Use three grounding and breathing techniques when anxiety rises
- Build a personal resilience toolkit for difficult times
- Take small, gradual steps towards situations you tend to avoid
