Description
IT Systems Integration & API Architecture is a written, self-paced course in six modules. You cover API design with REST, GraphQL and AsyncAPI; integration patterns including enterprise service buses, iPaaS and event streaming; Apache Kafka and message queue architectures; API gateways, rate limiting and versioning; ETL pipelines and data synchronisation; and how platforms such as MuleSoft and Azure Integration Services fit into enterprise integration.
It is a vendor-neutral educational course, not official vendor training or a certification, and it is not affiliated with any vendor mentioned. It does not promise a job outcome. Product features and pricing change often, so check current vendor documentation before choosing a platform.
What you will be able to do
- Design clear REST and GraphQL APIs and document event APIs with AsyncAPI
- Choose an integration pattern that fits a given set of systems
- Explain how Kafka topics, partitions and consumer groups work
- Configure gateway policies for authentication, rate limiting and versioning
- Plan an ETL or synchronisation pipeline that handles errors and duplicates
Educational content only. No income, revenue or earnings results are promised or implied. This course does not award a certification, licence or professional credential.
