Description
Morning Routines of High Performers is a written, self-paced course in six modules. You look at what is generally known about morning light, alertness and the body clock, try movement and breathing practices for the morning, use journaling, visualisation and intention-setting, plan morning hydration and breakfast, protect your first hour from screens and build your own routine in 30-day phases.
It is a habits course, not medical advice, and it does not promise productivity or success outcomes. The title refers to routines often described by productive people; there is no single routine that works for everyone, and you will design one that fits your own life, sleep and responsibilities. No special equipment is required, though most people find it helps to wake 30 to 60 minutes earlier.
What you will be able to do
- Explain in plain terms how morning light and your body clock affect alertness
- Choose a short morning movement and breathing practice
- Use a five-minute journaling and intention-setting ritual
- Protect your first hour from email, news and social media
- Build and adjust your own routine over three 30-day phases
